Title: SharePoint Architect
Location: Washington DC
Requirements:
- MCTS certifications in Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) configuration and/or development a big advantage.
- 5 years related Information Technology experience required that includes deployment and development with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS)
- Experience in Web server configuration and architecture
- Specific experience with SharePoint 2007 platform required
- Building Intranet portals and collaboration solutions using MS SharePoint
- Integrating the portal with other corporate data sources, applications and systems
- Implementation and integration of SharePoint Reporting Functions and Document Management
- Collaborates with team members; sharing development responsibility and work with members of diverse technical and business teams
- Technically proficient with superior .NET and SharePoint development experience Strong Web development skills (HTML, DHTML, CSS, etc.)
- Expert level knowledge in the administration, configuration, and customization of SharePoint Portal Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services
- SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services implementation and deployment experience including the creation of custom Web parts
- Experience with customization of templates and development of new templates
- Ability to architect a technical solution including detailed written/visual documentation with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with end users and team members
- Self motivated with the ability to set and meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision
- Develop extensions and custom components for SHAREPOINT / MOSS
- Integrate SharePoint with Microsoft Active Directory
- Research, coordinate, and recommend options for portal site design and implementation
